I’ve decided that I want the leave my husband after his affair last year. I haven’t told him yet, only that I’ve been having doubts about our reconciliation.
Is it best to file for divorce straight away? I don’t think there’s any going back and I am in a very weak position financially so I need the know what sort of settlement I’ll get in order to buy another house, etc. I consulted a solicitor earlier this year, so have one lined up.
Is there anything else I should do before telling him? I photocopied documents etc last year when I found out though some will be out of date now. Any advice appreciated.
