Access to children

Recently split from husband. We have 4 children. He has moved into a family members house, where he cannot take the children. So he has been visiting the children, at my house, whenever it suits him.
He won't commit to set days and times and has no where to take them.
I am trying to move on, but its hard when he is coming here to see the kids, all on his terms. Would like your experiences or ideas please x

My ex works shifts so we have no set days of the week, we use an app called team up which is a shared calendar and he can put his days off into it every week when he gets his rota.
I would be clear & firm and tell him you are not restricting his access but it needs to be more consistent, he should tell you perhaps on a Sunday night when he has time that week to see the children and perhaps you can suggest places he can take them?
How old are they? We have another app called HOOP which tells you what’s in locally every day for children (rhymetime/tumbletots etc).
