Hi I am sorting out selling a house after separating and have just signed the contracts. The solicitor asked us to agree where the money would go and my ex said I could have 100% of the proceeds and signed letters to agree this. I only wanted 70/30 as I have our daughter who lives with me. When signing the contracts the solicitor said she was going to split 50/50 and any other money has to be transferred after the sale. Is she allowed to do this
