Ex retired, maintenance stopped

After my cm was overdue I was told by the CMS that ex retired last month. He has always wanted to retire early even when we were still together.
Background is the DC gave supervised contact with him due to him being abusive. He has retired below the age of 60 with 2 dependent children to me and two from h I a first marriage.
I asked the CMS what they propose to do as surely they can claim from his private pensions (yes, plural) and they were vague saying he'd failed to supply the pension info within the 14 day period. Couldn't tell me what would happen next, but that to expect at least two to three months with no money.
It has left a hole in my finances that I am really struggling with. He hasn't given a penny towards them as he will see it as hurting me. What do I do? I was supposed to get a call back from my case worker within 24hrs and it has now been a week.

Just to confirm that child support is based on taxable gross annual income, and should include the value of any private or occupational pensions being paid.

Thanks. Hoping they can enforce something soon since he is delaying providing the details. Can the CMS access bank records? I know DWP can for benefit fraud as DP was a fraud investigator.

Selfish, selfish, selfish, it stuns me how these men can just walk away from their family responsibilities. A child is for life, not just for the Christening!

I heard it's £7 A week on another thread for pensioners.

It's not state pension as he's under 65. It's an NHS one.

He should be assessed on his income from his pensions. Make a complaint to CMS. Just keep asking to speak to a manager.

Cms are a nightmare. Keep phoning them. If they don't phone you back in 24 hours phone them and tell them you wish to raise a formal complaint. If they don't deal with that raise a complaint about complaint.
Every single time.

Income from Pensions are UK Taxable and your ex should include these details on a Self Assessment Tax Return. CMS have access to HMRC.
