Should I contact my ex?

I have not spoken to my STBXH for a few months and I’m waiting for his response to my solicitor’s letter, this I sent in April.

Should i contact him or would that be detrimental as his new partner is a property solicitor and I think she’s behind all the problems. She’s already twisting things like what assets are in the marital pot etc ( my solicitor states all her advice so far is inaccurate).

I’ve asked my solicitor to chase this but I’ve heard nothing
