Maintenance for 2 ex's

Hi, does anyone know how maintenance is worked out if paying 2 separate mothers? We're splitting up, got 2 dds together and he also has a dd with his ex. I've googled and found a few different answers so I will ring them on Monday but just wondered if anyone on here knew

You work out the amount for paying for 3 children (e.g. using the online calculator) as if one family.

Then it's split to be equal amounts per child - so if 1 children in the first family and 2 in the second, the total amount goes 1/3 and 2/3 shares.

The first ex may not be happy as that amount will drop a bit (!).

Gets more complex if overnight stays are included, or if the payer goes on to have more children.

Thanks for your reply. That's how I thought it was done but stbxh seems to think it's 15% of earnings for sd and 10% between our dds

Nope the children are treated equally in law.
