Urgent pension advice needed

After 5 years of an abusive marriage (10 years together), I’m divorced and going through the final part of the order.

I wanted to leave everything here but I’m being advised to go for his pension. I just want rid of him now but can I please have some advice whether to include pension or not. Would it even be much after 5 years? I’ve got to let them know by tomorrow!

Why by tomorrow? That makes no sense

What are the values of your respective pensions? And who are "they"?

I don't think length of marriage matters if you are in England/Wales but does if divorcing under Scottish law.
Pension rights can be more valuable than people think so it's probably worth seeking a proper valuation to make an informed choice.
Someone more qualified may be along to give you more insight OP, but didn't want to read and run given the timescale you mention.

Pensions are just another asset so why leave them out. The whole of the assets need to be taken into account and your solicitor will tell you what is reasonable. If you chose to accept less then that's your choice

don't be bullied / rushed into making decisions. Take your time and get legal advice if you can. You don't have to take account of his pension if you don't want to, but it is a marital asset so you would potentially lose out financially, unless you are being compensated in some other way.
