My DH friend just announced that he is divorcing. He is telling everyone and their dog how badly his partner has treated him. This guy is a bit odd and his version of events changes every couple of days. He has said a few concerning things, such as "I've given her everything she could ever have wanted, I've never laid a finger on her!" which immediately makes me think that he has. He has a reputation for being a bully and for harassing women when out on a night out.
He has been separated from wife for about 4 weeks (as far as we know), yet he says he's going to the solicitors every day for around 2-3 hours at a time - literally every day.
Is this realistic so early on in a separation? Both DH and I think there is more to it. It must be costing him a fortune to see a solicitor every single day!
Has anyone else had a similar experience?
