CMS tribunal / section 1 children's act

Has anyone been through this and can tell me what it involves - had the letter yesterday - for tribunal

I think I've had my head in the sand trying to maintain status quo for the kids. X has been told he should be paying me £1200 per month including arrears - he's currently paying £560 as thinks CMS are using wrong figures.

I've just committed to keep the lease on the house for another 16 months to get kids through a levels but I'm starting to panic and think I can't really afford to do this - everything I spend now comes out of my house money and with bleak prospects of a job I think I may be putting myself at future financial risk.

I cannot afford to buy in this area and so am already contemplating moving away 200 miles to maximise my funds - but where this will leave kids I have no idea - has anyone pursued sec 1 for some sort of maintenenace for them when they get to 18.

X is currently leasing a house here and has just bought a house in Sheffield with OW - his finances have got to be better than he's making out if he can do this.

Something else I've been pondering on - if he were to die by rights any money he has put into this house should come to kids - would he need a will to do this - do the kids have any rights to know about this - maybe need to post in legal - I'm currently supporting kids bar the maintenance but I am not going to be able to do this beyond 18 - their financial future should have been secure - they have lost this and her kids are now benefitting - what sort of a cunt does this - too many I know - just wondering how I can make it right for them - I blame myself for marrying such a cunt of a father
