Me and my stbx have a few final salary pensions, his being more than mine as i have had responsibility for our children and worked less hours for 15 years.
Now we are splitting and have had them valued. Although his decent pensions, the transfer value is seemingly low. But that fund is in deficit by about 15%. Does anyone know if it's worth getting an acrurial report on it though it's in deficit? I don't want to waste money but retirement is going to be really tight given that valuation🙁.
