I want to get the most out of the hour appointment i have with my solicitor.
I have decree nisi and the certificate from the mediator to say we've tried and cannot proceed with mediation.
The meeting is to decide what to do next. Mediation was halted because a) he lied about his financial situation to the mediator twice and b) he didn't do anything he agreed to do in mediation session 1 before session 2.
I guess i need to know if my solicitor thinks its worth trying to pitch a potential settlement or whether lying at mediation means we should proceed straight to court as it would take a judge to get him to be honest?
Has anyone else been in this situation and can suggest any other questions or preparation i can do to get the most out of my time with my solicitor?
