So the question is, how do I put an end to this without selling myself down the river?!?!
STBXH (if only the “soon” was accurate!!) moved out 4.5years ago. He has been unacceptabley slow in responding to solicitors emails. It took over a year to get his Form E, by which time it was out of date. However, 6 months ago we agreed the percentage split of the house, the pension and triggers for sale. Just the final bits needed agreeing. It took 4 months for him to respond, and when he did, he has decided that all agreements are off and we need to start negotiations again, taking great delight in explaining the words “without prejudice” (as if I didn’t know!!).
It has cost me £11k so far, I really need to make it stop.
What can I do?
We did mediation right at the beginning of the split and any agreement we made, he has said he won’t do. So I am slightly reluctant to go down this route.
The goalposts are moving so much, I feel dizzy!!
