I am currently going through solicitors to a financial dispute resolution and my husband has literally said that I can't afford the house we are in ( it's cheaper than renting) and proposes to throw me out 28 days after the order that they think they are going to win!!!!i have 4 dcs..........

I have a solicitor who is confident but my main worry is affording the mortgage, he has closed his business right down so that I can't get enough maintenance to live there

I am new this being single I know obviously work but can I earn enough, I don't want to be financially reliant on him at all

Listen to your solicitor. Not him!

There's no winning at FDR. Either you reach agreement or you don't in which case you are listed for trial.

Well I assume you have evidence of your mortgage capacity and evidence of what rentals would cost?

You need to look at increasing your earnings obviously.
