French divorce

Has anybody had a French divorce and been awarded spousal support?

Especially if you were expat on multiple international locations because of DP's job (meaning you couldn't work because of visa regulations, language barrier etc).

Thanks. Proceedings not started and won't be yet (by him either - certain of that for now), but we signed a prenup thing (it's a clause at the beginning of marriage contract) stating French law will be applied to our marriage regardless of the jurisdiction.
