Can I be forced to go to mediation against my will? What will happen if I don't go>

Why would you not want to go? Is your partner abusive? Mediation isn't relate, it's not to fix the relationship or work out what went wrong, it's to sort out what's next. If my husband will ever admit that it's over I'd go, plus I don't think you can divorce without going.

No
You don't have to go.

If you are unsure then maybe a miam might help you decide if you want to mediate.

thistoo you can definitely divorce without mediation. I am.
It doesn't have to be because of abuse either.
