Solicitor - quick advice needed

I'm going to see a solicitor shortly regarding separation and parenting and a largely absent father.

Can anyone think of questions I should ask. I've got:
-- Changing surname
--Writing a will regarding guardianship if I die
-- Parental responsibility
--Can I move cities without ex permission
--Should I go to family court to establish proper visitation and residencey arrangements

Anything else?

The guardianship is automatically fathers unless legal reasons why shouldn't be. You can appoint who you would like if father can't. You might want to ask about how assets are split if there is a family home etc
