I finally filed for divorce. Just waiting on my lawyer to file the paperwork in court. How long does that usually take? Wanted to fike for adultery but lawyer wanted an uncontested divorce

Adultery can be uncontested - mine was. Sorry I don't remember timescales now, but it all varies depending on how busy the court is.
In my area I think they did divorce applications in batches once per month.
Has your husband been served with the papers? I thought that happened before the application was sent to the court.
