What is the usual financial split?

My friend has been married 3 years. House in her name, she has a successful business which established before marriage. He has a good salary but no other assets.
I have advised she speak to a solicitor, but from what people have experienced, will he be entitled to half house and business?

The marriage was relatively short. Are there any DC? If not, I am not sure on what basis the H could apply for half your friend's assets, since his job is well paid and he could support himself.

She should be speaking to a solicitor as a matter of course.
