Ex is planning to reduce monthly payments to me . I have dc 16 who lives solely with me. Never stays at ex's so I have total care.
According to CSA calculator its about £70 a week but that's assuming dc stay a certain amount of nights with him. That never happens.

I don't know because when the CMA calculated my ex they reduced his weekly income by a few pounds so his liability was less. It wasn't much but I don't understand what they did.

If your DS doesn't stay with your ex then there will be no reduction for this. The only exception is where your ex could "prove" that they did stay with him so many nights a year by way of a court order that they could send to the CMS.

Financial - deductions are for other children that your ex has a responsibility for (including children of a new partner) and pension payments. The amount owed also reduces if they an average of 1, 2 or 3 nights a week with the NRP.

That makes sense now. He has her one night per week.
