I've just issued Form A for court proceedings to try and get some equity out of family home that STBXH lives in. What can I expect at first court date? How long does it take to get a court date? Feeling so overwhelmed at the moment. Thanks for any advice, in advance.

How long a court date takes depends on where you live. I live in a London borough, and it took about 3 and half months to get a hearing date for the FDA, and the FDR is scheduled for a date nearly 4 months after the FDA. Which is dragging it all out much longer, sadly.
