Does child maintenance cover......

Hi all, we split the kids 60% with me and 40% with ex. He gives me a decent amount per month - more than the government recommended rate.

I just wondered if this would cover extra curricular activities such as trampolining, gymnastics clubs etc which I have just shelled out a small fortune on.

Thoughts? TIA

Depends if you both agree to cover the costs or you decided independently to sign them up for them. You can ask but if your ex has no say in them not fair to expect him to cover half the cost?

He already pays more than he needed to by law. You can ask for contribution and their dad can say - no.

Those are nice to haves IMHO. (my ex doesn't contribute more because my kids go to classes, I have to budget for them)

Thanks. Ex is very keen for the dd's to do clubs, so am hoping he may contribute something.

We will see.
