Is this correct that because ex has moved in with his gf & she has a child (not his) that he pays less than if he lived on his own?
Surely she receives maintenance for that child& my children shouldn't get less?
CMS calculator doesn't specify parentage just does another child live in the household

Yes it does mean he pays a bit less to you but not much. When my DH and I had a baby the calculator said his maintenence should go down by about £5/month. Totally ridiculous I agree.

Makes sense to an extent that if he has another child with her that his income be split across an extra child but in this case it seems his obligation to his children is reduced by £50 per month because she has a child from a previous relationship who now lives under the same roof as him?

Yes, even if the child is not his and thier mother is recieving maintenance from the father your ex's maintenance to you is still reduced
