Hi all,
I am amicably divorcing my ex as we have been separated for over two years. I used wikivorce who have been slooooow (lost my paperwork at one point!!. Anyway like an idiot I missed out my exes middle name, so it got rejected and an amended petition has now been filed and approved. My question is what happens now? Someone mentioned that it now goes back to the beginning of the process as if you were starting a divorce from scratch all over again. Does anyone know if this is true, or what the key stages are from now?
Like an idiot I have booked a wedding with my partner next June and am starting to panic (divorce has been going on for almost 9 months - can't believe it has taken this long when my ex and I are still such good friends!)
Thanks all

I don't know whether it goes back to the start, but depending on when you have booked in June you could be cutting it fine as the DA not be issued until 6 weeks and 1 day after DN is issued.
So if DN was issued tomorrow the first day for your DA would be the 9th June.
Frankly I would prepare to need to rearrange your wedding.
