My H has been round having a right old tantrum because after over a year of him banging on about wanting to get divorced (I threw him out in Sept 2013 after yet another affair) and offering to pay all/most/half I got fed up of waiting and sorted it myself. He received the petition yesterday - read it today as he has his post delivered to his mums - and has KICKED OFF.
He's apparently not signing it because a. He doesn't agree with the wording of the grounds b. He doesn't want to pay full costs because his theory is that as I am now living with my DP I am committing adultery which technically I am ( however I'm divorcing him on grounds of unreasonable behaviour which he didn't seem to realise)
So...where do I stand now? What happens if he just won't sign? The costs don't really bother me, I've written off the £410 so would be a bonus to get it back but not too arsed. I do however want to avoid courts and solicitors etc.
He's apparently been soooo desperate for this, why is he now being an arse?! And will it actually make any difference to the outcome?
