How much contact will he get?

DH is threatening court and we have a young DC. How much contact will he get? I'm scared that DC will be living half week here and there which is so disruptive

Sorry but I've got no idea but I didn't want you to go unanswered. Have you spoken to anyone like the Citizen's Advice Bureau?

How old is dc ? And what was the set up care-wise before you split ? Did he work full time and have eves weekends ? Or was he a part time carer ?

DC does not go to DH at all yet. Has joint outings. DC is 2. As far as I know, DH is in full time work and lives 40 min away.

Likely every other weekend and half the holidays ultimately. May need to work towards that e.g. single nights to begin with. A court is unlikely to grant 50-50 if your dc hasn't had any overnights yet. It is likely you will have to go to mediation before it gets to court.
