diy divorce?

I paid £60 for a DIY divorce but am wondering whether I should have? I'm waiting for the documents to be sent.

Has anyone got any experience of this?

I just filled in the forms on the gov.uk website. Very straightforward and guidance notes on how to fill it out. No more complicated than applying for a passport. I had assumed that the sites offering to do it for you were just like the ones offering to fill in your EHIC/passport/tax return.

Sorry that's probably not very helpful. Hopefully someone with experience will post soon. I would check if they've filled in the new forms as they changed a few weeks ago.

I did mine on a form from Woolworths (ah thst takes me back!) and it cost £50 at the time. I guess you are just doing the current equivalent. It was fine - no problems.

I also did mine myself and sent directly to the court. Had application for decree nisi now so awaiting judge verdict

I decided to upgrade to a managed divorce and am just about to sign the papers. Seemed easier that way!
