We have sorted out contact arrangements for my son yet today i have recieved a letter from cafcass and a letter from courts which my exh solicitor applied for back in may.can all this be stopped as i dont see the need to easte public funds when everything has been sorted.

Yes. You both tell Cafcass it's sorted, and both write to court to that effect. If Cafcass have just contacted you though the first hearing might be imminent. If you don't hear from the court that the first heating has been pulled then you must both attend.
