Book recommendations/advice please

Can anyone suggest a book for DS1 (10) to help with the following situation:

I split up with his dad when he was 6 months old so he has never known us together. I have remarried and had other DC as has his dad.

Contact is sporadic, probably 7 or 8 times since the split, but last night he was very angry and then crying and doesn't understand why I can't live with his dad and why I don't love his dad anymore.

Tbh I was pretty shocked and dealt with it as best I could but I'm sure I fucked up somewhere I just didn't think it would be an issue seeing as he has no memory of the break up.

Help please!

just listen to what he saying and acknowledge he is upset - how to talk so kids will listen gives some good ideas

you might want to write your own story as i cant think of any specific book - why dont you write him a letter telling the story of how you and dad met, his birth, simplified version why you didnt stay together, how great he is how you see your little family as perfect enough etc etc the other male role models he has uncles ???

I like the idea of writing the story and I'll check out the book too. Thank you
