How long do you wait to apply for absolute? Its been 12 days since my stbexh solicitor could apply yet nothing is happening.its so frustrating there is nothing to sort out yet cant understand why they stalling.

My solicitor does nothing until I instruct them. Your ExH may not have instructed them to apply for the absolute yet,

Has a financial settlement been agreed as a Consent Order? This is the most common reason for delaying the absolute.

Or it may just be that the solicitor has not got round to it as they are busy on other cases etc.

If he doesn't apply - you can apply yourself in 3 months time (around 8th august in your case).
