dh left today

Hi dh moved out today we have 2dc it came as a complete shock and me and dc are devastated. Who do I need to contact to let know our new situation? I am thinking schools, tax credits but is there anyone else? Thanks

I am sorry to read this :( Did he say why he was leaving? have you been struggling for a while? How old are your Dc? I don'tthink there is a big rush to let folks know, It would be good to let the school know there is a problem.

Dc are 4 and 7. I thought we were really happy but he told me 3 weeks ago he wasn't happy and went to his mums. He then decided he wasn't coming back and told dc today. They are due at school tomorrow but they are in a right state . He says he will not be moving back in but still wants to put kids to bed etc

Poor you, what a bastard. Maybe you should post in "relationships" as you will get lots of emotional support there from ladies who have been through similar. He decided to leave, it would be very unfair on your children for it to be up in the air, i would get a solicitor and get access made official as soon as you can, so that the children know where they stand.
