Im lost.... am trying to work out what i should be getting but am lost with the calculations.... can someone help please

If exh had gross annual income of 38,000 how much should he pay for 2 children, he has them for 2 nights per week....

i guess he pays the standard rates for ni and tax??

£350 a month under the new scheme when it comes in before the end of the month.

£38000 x 16% then x5/7 for shared care.

Scheme at present, take off tax, NI and pension, he pays 20% less 2/7 for shared care.

Will the dc get more from the new scheme?

38k gross is about 2.3k nett per month. 20% as it's two children gives £460 per month reduced 5/7 for the overnight stays, call it £325 a month.

Depending on his tax situation and pension contributions it may well be less. That's current rules, btw.
