Reasonable access for 8 week old baby?

I fear me and my partner may split up after he has been verbally abusive towards me. I am now worried about access because he simply can't look after her. He can't even change her nappy and just gets stressed out when je does try. He can't comfort her when she cries and she just starts to cry whenever he holds her now. He even told me the other day that he doesn't think he's cut out for being a father. But if we split I know he will want to go court because his barmy mother will make him. Was just wondering what kind of access he would have or any advice would be great :) x

Babies contact is usually frequent but short (say one hour or 2 every 2-3 days). Changes when they start to interact more with the world around them.

How's he going to be able to change/feed her unless he's given the chance?
