I can't see how this will help anything. Someone with diabetes has symptoms. Diabetes isn't always, or even often, present at birth. Most cases are diagnosed between 10 and 14. Diabetes is often triggered as an autoimmune event following an illness. The petition is lacking in when screening should be offered and in what circumstances. There was no way this petition would succeed.
