Prediabetes advice needed

I have found out I am prediabetic which has really upset me although my diet was poor last 2 years. I am a woman in my mid 40s.

I am struggling to know what to eat I have barely eaten anything over the last 2 eek.s. I'm now getting headaches and stomach ache. Stopped eating white rice and pasta and bread , biscuits, crisps chocolate, potatoes, chips, cakes sweets and sugar in my coffee and tea.

Everything I read on packs seems to contain sugar and advice on line is so mixed even people saying don't eat wholemeal bread or bananas ieven fruit at all. .

What on earth do i eat then bar veg and meat at lunch and dinner and eggs and spinach for brekky?

I need more ideas for on the go to carry to work ie breakfast and lunch that doesn't taste bland and boring and actually fills me up.

Last August my hbA1c was 43 so pre diabetic , I started to eat low carb , it’s not a diet it’s a way of life . I’ve lost 3 stone and my hbA1c last month was 38 . There is a low carb board on here where you can get lots of advice and recipe ideas . It’s really quite easy when you get into it .
