Hi all
Was on Metformin slow release 500 twice a day but really suffered with diarrhoea. I put up with it for a long time. I finally asked to be taken off it. Was then started on glimepiride and they have now increased to 2mg. The problem is that I am having headaches every day now and I don't think it's down to poor blood sugar control. I don't know whether to blame the glimepiride. I feel so yuck that I am thinking about asking to go back on the Metformin as it feels like I can cope better with diarrhoea than headaches. I am not going low as I do recognise a hypo. Thanks for reading.

Can you have Glicazide instead?

Try a different med then? There’s literally thousands of different T2 meds
