So I caught the tail end of a radio news report that the NHS is going to be offering all persons with type 1 diabetes an artificial pancreas
Is this the same as the pump?
My son isn't type 1 he's type 3c aa he had acute necrotizing pancreititis last year and has virtually no pancreas tissue left ,he's treated as type 1 ,would he be eligible as all his paper work says type 3c /type1
He already has a Dexcom prescribed by the the NHS would it be compatible?

Yes it's a pump and cgm talking to each other. Read the NICE guidelines on eligibility.
