Libre help

Hi, I have been T1 for years, but only just got the Freestyle Libre 2 last Friday. Tonight it suddenly said that the sensor needed replacing - after 4 days?! I thought they were meant to last 14 days.

Anyone else experienced this? I haven't knocked it. I have also had an insulin change, and have been scanning a lot because of this, could I have worn the poor thing out?!

@Silverstar2 I just started the libre 2 that hasn't happened to me but I've heard it happing to other people. If you ring the number on the box and let them know they will send you out a new one, and you send back that one to them. My alarms aren't working on mine can't seem to fix it. But really like having it as newly diagnosed as type 1.

Sounds like its faulty. If you call Libre they're pretty good at replacing them. keep the old one though as they ask for it back to review it

My son has this, it's happened to him a couple of times. If you contact the helpline on the box they will send you out a replacement with a prepaid envelope to send the faulty one back. He's also had faulty ones that won't come out of the holder when he first presses them into his arm, they replaced those too.
