Can anyone please help on how to use the JAZZ diabetes machine ? I've had two error messages and the video the midwife sends isn't the same device I have. Thanks

agamatrix.co.uk/products/jazz/ you can view a video. Most devices work the same way - you put the strip into machine, get a fingerprick blood sample which you touch with the tip of the strip until it starts to read.

Thank you. And do you know if you have to apply the control drops or I could just have a faulty machine ?

You might need to use control drops for a one off, to check calibration, but what makes you think it faulty? Can you take it into a chemist if unsure.

The control solution is just to check the meter is testing in range. That’s all it’s for.

As LIZS says, put the strip in, prick your finger, then put the edge of the strip to the drop of blood and the strip kind of sucks it up.

Well done😊 I think we all get a bit flustered using some new gadget for the first time (or at least I do😳😂). Wishing you well with your pregnancy.
