I've recently been diagnosed with Gestational diabetes and the midwife has prescribed me to be put on metformin, I am nearly 36 weeks and I'm scared that this medication will harm my baby. I don't normally take medication pre pregnancy so this is why I feel like this. I was just seeking any other women who had GDM and took metformin, birthing healthy children after, for some reassurance?
