Insulin pen and school ski trip

My T1 DS going on a school ski trip in April and just wondered if anyone has been skiing and if so did you get something special to keep the pen in so it doesn’t freeze whilst out on the slopes?

We are only used to dealing with hot holidays and have a Frio cooler bag.
