Hi, I've been dx with prediabetes, but only very slight. The main issue is that normal calorie controlled dieting has not worked, and so my doctor has prescribed this weekly injection.

It's working SO well, but while I know about some of the side effects, I wasn't expecting to feel faint - like low blood sugar?

My blood sugar has already gone down, but it's still only just ok, so I'm pretty sure it's not acrostic because of low blood sugar.

Does this resonate with anyone? My next appt is in 3, 4 weeks?

Hi,

I'm type 1 diabetic so it's a different kettle of fish but when my BG has been consistently high for a while (like if I'm ill) I can feel hypo within the normal range. It can take a while for it to drop back down to only feeling hypo when I drop below 5/4. Have your BGs dropped since you started taking it?

Yes, they have, thank you! That makes sense.

Quite early on I had one day where I suddenly got all the symptoms, and was really confused, but since then I've been fine.

Then I increased my dose (I'm supposed to double it after 4 weeks), and ever since I did that I've been getting the light headed/ faint feeling, which is better when I eat.

Many thanks, really appreciate it!

Yes I’m on it for T2 control. I’ve been on it about 12 weeks now. Blood sugars coming down and I’ve lost 1.5 stone so my BMI now 24. Would still like to lose another 10lbs or so.

That's fantastic Cherry, I ended up losing 1.5st in the first 3 months, but then had surgery/ was really ill with something else, so I came off it for a bit. Back on the last 4 weeks, and have managed to lose the little bit that I put on.

What was interesting was that I didn't really lose the benefits.. for about a month after stopping, I still lost weight etc.
