Hi everyone
I’m not sure if anyone can answer this question but I was diagnosed with pcos about 10 years ago, I was put on metformin 8 years ago and told to stay on it as I’ve really bad pcos symptoms anyway I’m having a lot of symptoms similar to diabetes type 2 but bloods are fine my question is… is it possible I’m diabetic but the metformin is masking it? I’ve tried asking my neurologist this and he didn’t really answer me.. I’ve a lot of tingling in hands and toes along with other things

I'm no expert, but I think if you had diabetes type 2 the metformin would be controlling it, not masking it. I think you would only get symptoms like tingling in the hands and toes and other symptoms if your diabetes was uncontrolled. If your bloods are all fine I would be surprised if you did have diabetes.
