16:8?

I'm awaiting results of a HbA1C but I am pretty sure I am diabetic type 2. Is the 16:8 diet a good one for diabetes?

The key is low carb eating. Intermittent fasting can be useful in conjunction. Recommend diabetes.co.uk and dr Jason fung..

Recommend dietdoctor.com too - free site is packed with information, carb content guides, recipes. My HBA1C was 56 at diagnosis (no symptoms!) 12 weeks ago, I'm waiting for the repeat test next week after 12 weeks of low carb. Hopefully I won't need medication and I can just carry on as I am, because I'm well used to this now! Good luck.
