Type 2 diabetic here, been struggling to keep my blood sugars down, currently take max dose of Metformin but doctor now wants me to start Alogliptin. Anyone out there taken this? What are your experiences of it? Did it help? How long before you noticed any improvement in bs levels? Most importantly, what side effects did you experience? TIA
