Eating out?

Dh has recently been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I've cut out sweets, chocolate, biscuits etc to support him too. My in-laws want us to go out for lunch with them, they've suggested Frankie and benny's and said there is a new diabetic menu although I can't see anything about that on their website. Is there anywhere. Is there anywhere particular that has some diabetic friendly choices?

I’m type 1 but would probably stick with a steak/ grilled meat and salad or veg and avoid the pasta/ pizza menu

I’m T1 too. I’d avoid fries/pasta/pizza and burgers. From the main menu I’d do steak, fish or chicken with a salad.

For starters I’d do the garlic prawns.

I’d skip dessert, or just get a coffee.

Thankyou, that's really helpful. A lot of the menu seems quite carb heavy but there are some nice low carb options too.
