Hi

Does anyone else find it really hard to control their sugars when their period is due? It feels like I am just injecting water :( then after a day or 2 will be fine and over night seems to be ok! Just find it so frustrating :(

Yes, I think women have a harder time of it than men due to having such big hormone fluctuations, periods, menopause etc. I'm peri-menopausal and need more insulin. I'm on a pump and have a pre menstrual setting to help me. Have you asked your dsn about pump therapy? The pump helps me manage it more effectively. Plus I find my sugars go low after my period. It's a right pita Sad
