Okay we are worried. We have just been to the pharmacy to collect my partners insulin and we have been told there is now an insulin shortage( they used the term. 'Shortage at the supplier') we have enough for the moment though but it is like the whole Epi Pen fiasco all over again. It must be related to our impending brexit.

Everybody be careful with your insulin supply, don't let it run low and speak to your doctor if necessary.

Which insulin is he on? The company which makes insurance basal shut the factory for 2 weeks every year which tends to lead to a shortage. There is an alternative to this however which your husband could be switched to.
If it isn’t this insulin, then try another pharmacy as I’ve known pharmacies say to patients that the medication is out of stock etc but it’s their supplier that is the problem not the manufacturer and the pharmacies may use different suppliers to each other.
