Hi i had GD diabetes in late pregnancy after that I had pre diabetes in March my results were 52 now they gone up to 60 I'm so worried sick I'm going to start metformin I wish they gave me metformin before.
Anyone been to the Desmond's diabetes course thing you go to?

Have you considered a keto way of eating. Prediabetic here and within 3 months I was in normal ranges as long as I stuck to the plan and did a bit of exercise. I cant praise it enough, honestly. Have a look and see if it is for you. There is a low carb bootcamp starting on MN on the 15th October which will give you some ideas and you can look at their previous threads to get you started. Check out keto groups on facebook. If you are pre d you can reverse this, you will never be cured, but you can halt it in its tracks. I refused to go down the drug route when the power to stop it was in my hands.

Thankyou so much for your response I'm a type 2 diabetic. It's because of pcos my body has become insulin resistant.
