My HbA1c? (hope I got that right lol) fasting glucose came back as 6.0, and my BMI is 18 or 19 ish. I already use MyFitnessPal and I never eat more than 20g “natural” sugar a day, or over 2000kcal
(Don’t eat refined sugar at all really, maybe once on occasion but it’d be less than 10g a day)

Hoping to reverse this but I’m feeling quite deflated as I already thought I ate a healthy diet. I’m not super strict with carbs but I think I eat less than average (around 80g low gi carb a day)
I explained this to my Dr, but I think they think I’m lying/in denial as they only recommended eating less sugar and it’s probably genetics
Oh I’m south Asian, and I think diabetes is more common for us

Would anyone recommend I get a blood glucose testing metre to test after meals or is that ott
