I have name changed for this because details would "out" me.

Today I went to the doctors with a painful cyst in my groin area. I was prescribed antibiotics as it's infected. This is my fourth lot of antibiotics since Christmas (tonsillitis, dental abscess/cyst and two infected cysts.) Because of this, my doctor has asked for me to have a blood test to check for diabetes. I have been very tired recently, thirsty and urinating a lot. Didn't realise having lots of infections could indicate a problem? Anyone else been in a similar situation?

I've got T2 and was diagnosed 5 years ago. I felt really tired most of the time, had to get out of bed to pee like a horse in the middle of the night.

If it's found you're on the edge of diabetes do your utmost to lose Weight and get fit. It's a bit of a pain in the arris for a lot of reasons.

Good luck. X
